Takes after her dad...

Clint's favorite line when discovering a newly acquired habit of Lina's is "hmmm, she's definitely your daughter", obviously insinuating that she takes after me. Although, I must point out that he usually says this when referring to a habit that he claims is going to make him grey prematurely. I don’t take offense to his sarcasm; I’ll proudly take claim of Lina’s fun and outgoing personality.

Now that she is becoming a lot more independent, I am starting to catch onto her likes and dislikes. As it turns out, she is a lot more like her dad than he realizes.

1.      She’s a side sleeper. The first time I went into her room and saw her unswaddled, sleeping on her side I almost cried. I realized that she was making a decision as to what was comfortable and how she wanted to sleep.

2.      She doesn’t turn her nose up at food. Obviously, there are foods that she prefers, she’ll finish applesauce, bananas, pears, and squash in seconds. However, there are foods that when she swallows she actually gags on them…but she’ll still open up for another bite. She actually gets mad at me when I put it away and hates waiting while I prepare her something that isn’t going to end up coming back up.

3.      She poops every day. Yup, she’s super regular!

4.      She’d rather fall asleep in my arms than anywhere else.

5.      She hates when I ignore her.
